Tips to Boost Sales with the Help of Packaging Design

When the concept of packaging of products was introduced, it was all about protecting the goods. However, it’s been so song since the product packaging is being used for the branding purposes as well. In this wage of information and commercialism, the success of product packaging depends upon packaging’s ability to support the product safety and branding equally. The reason is that the customers have become busier than ever and they don’t want to spend time on judging about the product’s quality and usefulness without seeing what’s printed on the package about the product.

To make sure that your product does well in the market, you have to pay attention to the packaging design; and you will have to pay attention to the packaging trends in this regard.

The fun factor
You may be familiar with the concept of neuromarketing. It’s mainly about your package’s ability to make the consumers smile. Research suggests that if customers develop positive emotions by looking your product, they will more probably end up buying your product.

Thinking outside the box
Adding an element of surprise in the product package can help you in improving sales. However, you have to make sure that this unusual packaging remains practical. For instance, you may consider designing a shoe package which would not be a conventional box. Or you can consider packing shampoo in something other than the bottle.

The reusability of the package
There would be many people would do not like the product you sell. But then they buy it just because the packaging of your product is useful for them. Even if people buy your product for this very reason, you have a marketing advantage. However, you have to make sure that you are not overdoing the packaging.

An eye on the future
When it comes to boosting of your sales, you have to take care of the balance between recognizability and innovation. It means that the packaging of your product needs to allow the future improvements. If there is no room for improvement in the product packaging, you might have to design the packaging from the scratch in order to meet the rising demands.

Keep an eye on the current trends
While it is good to think outside the box when it comes to product packaging but you have to make sure that this unusual packaging is not being detrimental to your brand. Sometimes, you may just have to stick with the ongoing trends in packaging to be successful.

All About Awaiting Fulfillment

In our social media savvy place, communication is vital for success, and this applies to a lot of companies, since if they can’t provide customers immediate physical information about their package, it can be an issue. You definitely want to keep people updated with the order as it progresses. Offering order statuses is now a major part of this, with most people wanting to know that they got something, and if there is a holdup, they want answers.  The details that you offer are important, and it can be something that makes people a little bit upset, and here, we’ll discuss awaiting fulfillment.

What is Awaiting Fulfillment

This is when someone has paid for something, but they’re waiting for the items to be packed and shipped. This is something that is before the shipping label is made, and it’s important to understand that the order is being made to prepare for shipping. There are other order statuses that are there, since it goes through a lot of different stages. First, you need to confirm this with a person who is selling this, and then, it usually has an order cycle, and this falls into order cycle time, which is the time that someone needs to wait for orders to be shipped.

This is something that is important to consider if you want to make sure he experience is seamless. First step is submitted for fulfillment, which is basically confirming that the details are in the system, and it’s moved from the company to logistics. It may have tracking notifications, but usually, this is basically the payment has been taken, is verified, and is going to get fulfilled soon.

Pending fulfillment is that they’re picking up and getting ready to fulfillment. This is the same as awaiting fulfillment.  They may also have “on hold” which basically entails that the information is not there, and it is something that’s been required without the order being fulfilled. It may be incomplete information about the customer and whatnot.

The next step is partially shipping, which is where part of it ships, cause the rest of this is out of stock. This is usually a split fulfillment process. Shipped of course, means that it’s been shipped out from the store, and it’s something that has the date, the tracking information, and of course, it will have other labels too. These include in transit, at the local hub where it’s getting ready to be delivered, and then out for delivery. Most major shippers offer this.

Then there is order delivered, which means it’s sitting somewhere, and it’s waiting for you to pick it up and then, you can take it inside. Sometimes, they’re wrongfully labeled though, so you should talk to them. sometimes, there are delivery exceptions, such as in the case of holidays, bad weather, or labels which are damaged.

Awaiting Vs. Pending Fulfillment

Awaiting fulfillment and pending fulfillment mean literally the same thing, and most companies use them as one in the same. Awaiting shipment differs from awaiting fulfillment however because awaiting fulfillment means that it hasn’t been fulfilled yet, but awaiting shipment means that it’s been fulfilled, it’s just waiting to be shipped out. It also may be waiting for other products to be put in there and packaged.

All of these terms are important, and they’re great to know so you’re not confused about what this may mean for you, and lets you put together a lot of better options for you to try, and it can help with controlling order fulfillment quite readily for your company needs too.
